The Pinecone EP emerged from a desire to explore the essence of our songs in their most fundamental forms. It features acoustic demos and stripped down versions of songs that predate their full-band counterparts, offering a rare look at the genesis of some of our more recognized tracks. The EP also includes one new track (“Irish Goodbye”) and a cover song (“Killefer Protest Song”) we recorded to draw attention to the impending demolition of a school in our community.

This collection serves as a bridge between the introspective depths of Crescendo of Silence and the broader sonic explorations of Drown the Wind. It allows listeners to trace the evolution of our sound, offering a unique perspective on the musical journey and the narratives we continue to explore. This EP provides a vital link, showcasing the foundational elements that connect these two distinct phases of our work.
